“Brother you’re ready”–Chelsea hero recommends manager for Blues job

Cesc Fabregas continues to make a mark in his ongoing managerial spell at Como. His former Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard has now spoken about the possibility of him managing the Blues.

The Spaniard’s side currently stand sixth in Serie A. They find themselves in a Conference League spot but are only four points behind Juventus, who are in a Champions League place.

Como have scored nine goals over the last three Serie A games. It showcases their commitment to an attacking brand of football.

Fabregas’ ex-teammate Hazard has spoken to Il Mattino. He mainly chatted about Antonio Conte, whose Napoli face Como in the next round of the Coppa Italia.

The Belgian had some positive words for Fabregas, saying: “What he’s doing at Como is purely the result of his great qualities. He has them in spades, and I’ve always been convinced of that.”

Further, Hazard also revealed a conversation with Fabregas, and said he has tried to talk him into the Chelsea job.

“We talk very often, and since I’m a big Chelsea fan, when we spoke the other day I told him, ‘Brother, you’re ready to coach the Blues.’ I’m not surprised by what he’s showing at Como.”

While Liam Rosenior has started his Chelsea life reasonably well, the Blues have a habit of constantly changing their managers.

Considering his previous connections to Stamford Bridge, nobody will be surprised if the Blues consider Fabregas as an option in the future. In fact, reporters actually asked him about Chelsea before the club hired Rosenior.

That probably shows that this could become an avenue going forward. Everything can come down to whether Fabregas is open to leaving Como when the Blues have a vacancy.
