Chelsea have confirmed what squad number Mamadou Sarr will wear after the defender was recalled from his loan spell at Strasbourg.
The 20-year-old worked with Liam Rosenior during the Blues head coach's time in France and was regularly named as captain in the starting XI. The Senegal star made 18 appearances for Strasbourg despite some injury issues, but will now spend the rest of the campaign at Chelsea after he was recalled during the January window.
The west Londoners confirmed on Thursday that the young defender will wear the number 19 shirt for the rest of the 2025/26 season. In a statement Chelsea said: "The squad number Chelsea defender Mamadou Sarr will wear after returning from his loan at Strasbourg has been confirmed.
