Liam Rosenior says he is not yet sure whether Reece James and Pedro Neto will be fit to play against Wolves on Saturday.
Both missed the Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg defeat to Arsenal and Rosenior says they will be assessed before the weekend’s clash.
Meanwhile, winger Jamie Gittens is set to be out for the long term after suffering a torn hamstring.
“Jamie is more long-term,” Rosenior said. “He’s got a tear in his hamstring which is a real shame for him.”
But Rosenior insists Cole Palmer is ready to play 90 minutes having come off the bench against Arsenal on Tuesday.
The forward is having his fitness carefully managed after missing much of the season with a groin injury.
