The New York Knicks are not aggressively pursuing two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and are not expected to make a move for him at this time, as they remain confident in their current roster, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

"They could have had Giannis Antetokounmpo last summer, and they probably could have had him now, but they don't believe they should mess up this team," Windhorst said on ESPN's Get Up show.
The Knicks reportedly discussed a potential Giannis trade during the summer of 2025, but no deal ultimately came together.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors are still viewed as teams pursuing Antetokounmpo ahead of the February 5 trade deadline.
However, there is growing belief around the league that Giannis will remain with the Milwaukee Bucks beyond Thursday’s deadline, with any serious trade discussions likely shifting to the offseason.
