Pacers potential trade package for Ivica Zubac revealed

Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac is reportedly being targeted by the Indiana Pacers, with the Clippers expected to be offered a package including Bennedict Mathurin and a couple of first-round picks in return.

With the NBA trade deadline approaching later today, teams are making their final moves to improve their rosters for the second half of the season.

Los Angeles Clippers / Schedule

The latest update suggests the Los Angeles Clippers could be parting ways with their starting center at the deadline.

According to NBA reporter Evan Sidery, the Indiana Pacers are in pursuit of Ivica Zubac, with a potential trade package including key forward Bennedict Mathurin and draft capital.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst suggests Ivica Zubac is worth quite a lot on the trade market, with the Clippers potentially looking at a return bigger than what the Mavericks got for Anthony Davis.

"If Ivica Zubac gets traded today, he's going to get traded for more than Anthony Davis was traded for. Multiple first-round draft picks," Windhorst reported.

Zubac is averaging 14.4 points and 11.0 rebounds this season across 43 games, while shooting 61.3 percent from the field.

He is under contract with the Clippers through the end of the 2027-28 season.
