The Miami Heat remain a team that could realistically offer an acceptable trade package for Giannis Antetokounmpo, as the Minnesota Timberwolves are believed not to have the necessary assets to pull off a trade.
The Miami Heat and the Minnesota Timberwolves are mentioned as the two most likely suitors for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, but one of them looks like they are falling out of the picture as the trade deadline approaches.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, the Timberwolves' offer doesn't look as good as the one the Golden State Warriors were offering and was rejected, leaving the Miami Heat as the team with an edge if a trade happens.
"I've been at 51-49 against a trade. I'm now at 60-40 against the trade. Minnesota is still out there, but I'll be honest with you, I don't think Minnesota's offer was as good as Golden State's, and if Golden State's offer wasn't good enough, I don't think Minnesota is realistic," Windhorst reported on ESPN's Get Up.
"That leaves Miami. Miami is making a player-and-semi-draft-pick offer; it's a decent offer," he notes. "Unless there's a secret thing going on, I'm not feeling Giannis moving right now."
