Chelsea ready to sell£100k-a-week star after message sent to Liam Rosenior

Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior has been told that £30 million signing Liam Delap looks lost, amid the latest round of speculation which has claimed that the Blues are ready to let him leave at the end of the season.

Delap turned down an approach from Manchester United to sign for CHELSEA for £30million last summer, but has not made the impact that many would have liked as the big striker has scored two goals in 21 appearances in all competitions, with injuries and the form of Joao Pedro limiting his game time even further this season.

And after his struggling performance against Arsenal in the Carabao cup, former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor believes that Delap’s display was of particular concern, Aalysing Delap’s performance on Tuesday, Agbonlahor told talkSPORT: ‘What I didn’t understand was Liam Delap on the right

‘No, this isn’t working,’ he added. ‘I said when he joined Chelsea that I thought he should hav gone to a team like Everton.

‘Develop there for a couple of years and then make the big move to top-six side. I think the jump from Ipswich to Chelsea was too much.

‘When I look at him as a striker, I like him – he can hold up the ball well, he’s a good finisher, but he just doesn’t look sharp enough for the top level of the Premier League.’

The criticism comes after reports in the media that CHELSEA will allow Delap to leave the club at the end of the season and use some of the funds from his potential departure to try and acquire Real Madrid star Endrick

Since moving to France on loan, the teenage forward has scored four goals in as many games, as well as providing one assist and is showcasing why Madrid splashed so much money trying to get him signed a few windows ago
