Arsenal are reportedly plotting to sign two Bayern Munich players in the summer, in a blockbuster deal.
The Gunners won’t be thinking about the summer too much right now, as they are top of the Premier League, and still in the Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup. They just progressed to the Carabao Cup final by beating Chelsea 4-2 on aggregate.

However, when they do reach the summer transfer window, the Gunners will have a plan of how they want to change their squad, as they hopefully look to defend a Premier League title, and potentially more.
The future of Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard is up in arms, as their contracts are due to expire in 2027, so, Arsenal will need more attacking reinforcements for the coming seasons under Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal plotting stunning Bayern Munich raid
Many would agree that Arsenal and Bayern Munich are the two best clubs in Europe this season, and so it would be some sort of stunning transfer twist, if Arsenal were to sign not one, but two Bayern Munich stars.
However, reports in Germany claim that this is a very real possibility. Firstly, Fussball Daten claims that Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea are all targeting a move for 17-year-old midfielder Lunnart Karl, who many believe could become a future Ballon d’Or winner.
Arsenal have reportedly sent scouts on several occasions to watch the German U21s star, but Bayern will set a high price, as it is understood that Bayern wants to tie Karl down to a new contract, with a £70m-plus release clause.
Olise also a target for the Gunners
On top of potentially signing Karl, Arsenal are also reportedly keen on Bayern Munich, and former Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise, as a part of their contingency plan surrounding Martinelli, and Trossard’s situations at the club.
According to TeamTalk, Arsenal are beginning to plan for the future, and consider Olise part of their plans. He joined Bayern from Palace in 2024 for a fee of around £46m, but would likely cost the best part of £100m now.
Since moving to the Allianz Arena, Olise has been sensational, scoring 33 goals, and providing 46 goals, in 87 appearances for the German giants.
