CHICAGO — Amid a busy NBA trade deadline for the team, it seems only fitting that the Chicago Bulls have acquired a player nicknamed "Young Bull." Guard Collin Sexton was traded to the Windy City Wednesday, along with center/forward Ousmane Dieng and three second-round picks from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Chicago guards Coby White and Mike Conley Jr.
Despite remaining in contention for a playoff spot this season, Chicago has moved three of its top four scorers as White (18.6 points per game), Nikola Vučević (16.9 PPG) and Ayo Donsunmu all now have new homes. The Bulls, with a record of 24-27, currently sit in the 10th spot of the Eastern Conference standings, which would qualify them for a berth in a playoff play-in game if the season ended today.
