The Toronto Raptors are looking forward to the much-needed return of Jakob Poeltl.

Addressing the media ahead of Thursday's home matchup against the Chicago Bulls, head coach Darko Rajakovic revealed that he and the Raps are hopeful Poeltl will come back to the lineup before next week's All-Star Break.
Further added by the Serbian coach, Poeltl is "ramping up well" in his ongoing back injury recovery.
Poeltl has been out since Dec. 21 as he endured back issues all season long. He only played 21 games thus far, and his production has taken a sharp decline to just 9.7 points per game from averaging a career-high 14.5 last season.
The Raptors have been forced to play a relatively small frontcourt bannered by franchise star Scottie Barnes.
In the end, Toronto can only be optimistic that Poeltl will regain his composure. With him still out until next week, Collin Murray-Boyles and new Raptor Trayce Jackson-Davis will anchor the Raps' interior.
