Beyond the Knicks and the Heat, Giannis would also "not rule out" the Lakers as his next stop.
In the wake of not making a splashy move before Thursday's NBA trade deadline, the Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly gearing up for the long game.
Los Angeles Lakers / Schedule
According to Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times, the Lakers are prepared and determined to pursue Giannis Antetokounmpo.
"The Lakers will make a hard push to acquire the All-Star forward during the summer, people with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Times, after the Milwaukee Bucks declined to deal the two-time most valuable player by the noon deadline," Broderick wrote.
"People close to Antetokounmpo said the New York Knicks and Miami Heat are his preferred destinations, but he would not rule out the Lakers."
