It’s been just over a month since Enzo Maresca left Chelsea and he’s yet to find a new job.
Chelsea have moved on from Enzo Maresca in fine fashion, winning six of their opening eight games under new boss Liam Rosenior.
The Chelsea supporters were far from happy with Maresca’s exit, though, especially after winning two pieces of silverware in the space of months.
Who would you rather have as Chelsea manager right now?

Despite the negative result against Arsenal, Liam Rosenior has given Chelsea a new lease of life. Some experiments haven’t worked, but we’ve played some attractive football at times.
But there will naturally still be that interest from Chelsea fans in Maresca’s next move.
Enzo Maresca suggests he’s staying abroad
Maresca has been linked with replacing Pep Guardiola at Man City; however, that seems to be a long-term play as he’s contracted until 2027.
However, there were rumours of a shock move for Maresca to return to Leicester City, who are struggling in their bid to return to the Premier League.
And he’s now given a hint into his thinking moving forward.
Speaking at FIGC’s Technical Sector at Coverciano for the Panchina d’Oro awards, the former Chelsea boss said this when asked if he had in mind to return to work in Italy.
“The Serie A championship is always interesting, hard-fought. I have not said I won’t be back, only that I’ve been abroad for 7-8 years now and I feel good: we’ll see.”
So, with Maresca spending the past four years in England and previous stints at West Ham and Man City before 2021, it seems as if he’s leaning towards staying abroad, as he currently feels ‘good’.

Enzo Maresca should wait for Manchester City
As much as it would be painful to see Enzo Maresca go to Manchester City, it’s the most sensible move with Leicester City in the picture.
Going back to the Championship would be a bit underwhelming considering the reputation he built for himself at Chelsea.
It would only be until the end of the season, but what if it all goes wrong?
