Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icchelseanews that we think you may have missed….

Chelsea have now come out and confirmed that winger Tyrique George will spend the remainder of the campaign on loan at Premier League side Everton, after the decision was to allow the star to leave the club.

The young forward broke into the first-team set-up under Enzo Maresca, but has struggled to become a permanent fixture in the side this term. He has not featured in the last six matchday squads.

He saw a last-minute transfer to Fulham collapse on Deadline Day in the summer, but The 19-year-old still had alot of suiters that were keen to get him signed up this winter transfer window, and the Blues were in talks with a number of clubs over a possible deal.

But in the end, it was revealed right towards the end of the transfer window that Everton were very keen on getting a transfer deal done for George and after a few days of talking, CHELSEA allowed him to leave the club until the end of the season.

Chelsea posted on the club website: ‘George featured 11 times for the Blues during the first half of this season, with goals scored against Lincoln City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Ajax.

‘He also earned his first England Under-21 caps, scoring twice in his four appearances for the Young Lions.

‘George, who joined CHELSEA as an under-8 and was developed throughout the Academy age groups, has totalled 37 senior appearances since making his first-team debut, with the 19-year-old finding the net on six occasions.

‘We look forward to supporting Tyrique throughout his loan spell.

‘Good luck, Ty!

MCGLINCHEY COMPLETES MOVE

Harry McGlinchey has completed a permanent transfer to Championship club Sheffield United, Chelsea have now come out and posted on the club website after allowing the young star to leave the club.

The transfer window has been close for a few days now, but that is not stopping the rumours and transfer speculation regarding the Blues, and it is not stopping the club from getting some late transfer deals done.

CHELSEA have now announced on the club website, that McGlinchey has left the club on a permanent basis after interest was shown by United, the Blues posted on the club website: ‘Joining our Academy aged 14, McGlinchey was developed through the youth ranks and his Under-18s debut arrived on the final day of the 2023/24 campaign, in which he grabbed an assist against Arsenal.

‘McGlinchey was a regular for the young Blues last season, making his Under-21s debut, and represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-19s.

‘We thank Harry for his efforts throughout his time at Chelsea and wish him well as he begins a new chapter in his career.’

IcChelseanews Says…

Although we are sad to see the young man leave CHELSEA , this is probably the right thing for his career as he did not really have the quality to make any sort of impact on the first team under Liam Rosenior.

We wish him all the best and hope that he is able to forge a long and successful career in the game, playing in the Championship is massive for young stars and it will help him make a name for himself.

HAZARD MAKES FABREGAS CLAIM

Eden Hazard has revealed the conversation he had with his former Chelsea teammate Cesc Fabregas about returning to Stamford Bridge as manager, as the Spaniard impressive over in Italian football with Como.

Como finished 10th in Serie A last season and are currently sixth, four points outside the Champions League places, but they have been constantly praised for the style of football that Fabregas likes to employ with the Italian side.

CHELSEA have only just hired Liam Rosenior as boss, and he has started life in London very well, but there are still many out there that believe he is not the manager that will get the Blues winning the Premier League and Champions League titles once again.

Hazard believes Fabregas is ‘destined’ to become one of the best coaches in the world and admits he ‘dreams’ of seeing his former teammate in the Stamford Bridge dugout: ‘I’ll be honest, in the summer we talked a bit,’ Hazard, 35, told Gazzetta dello Sport.

‘I told him he was one of the best midfielders in history and that he’s destined to become one of the best coaches as well.

‘I explained to him that the time has come for him to return to Chelsea, and he joked about it, but I really believe it. He loves football and knows everything about this spot.

‘I’m a CHELSEA fan, and I want the best for the club. That’s why I dream of seeing Cesc on their bench, while I’ll be staying in the stands behind him, enjoying the show.’

IcChelseanews says…

We are not sure on this one, Liam Rosenior is doing a good job so far in his time with the club, but we have been so impressed with how Fabregas as turned Como into a top side that is challenging for Champions League football.
