Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur may both be ready to compete for Bayern Munich star Leon Goretzka in the summer.
The 30-year old is in the final six months of his current contract at the Allianz Arena, and with no new deal on the table is set to leave the club at the end of the season as a free agent.
Atlético Madrid were weighing up making a bid for him in the January window whilst Tottenham were also considering preparing an offer for the German international.
But if Goretzka does move to North London, it might be to the red and white side, with reports from Germany indicating that Arsenal are his clear preference.
Whilst he is fully committed to Bayern for the rest of the season as they continue their pursuit of more silverware, he wants his future sorted out before the World Cup where he is almost certain to be part of the German squad.
