Liverpool have updated their Premier League squad list following the winter transfer window.
Liverpool have updated their Premier League squad list for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
The closure of the winter transfer window means that each club has to resubmit their respective set-ups.
The Reds did not sign and senior first-team players, with Jeremy Jacquet joining from Rennes in the summer for £60 million and Arne Slot’s side missing out on Lutsharel Geertruida of Sunderland. But there are new names in Liverpool’s squad if required.
Liverpool recalled Owen Beck and Harvey Davies from respective loan spells at Derby County and Crawley Town. Both fill the homegrown criteria.
Beck has decent experience at senior level, thriving during a loan spell at Dundee United in 2023-24 while he made 25 appearances for Championship side Blackburn Rovers last season. The 23-year-old left-back joined Derby County last summer but suffered a significant hamstring injury. It means he did not make an appearance for the Rams, who are pushing for the Championship play-offs.
Beck’s main goal will be returning to full fitness but he is another defensive option if he does recover.
Davies, meanwhile, will be add to Liverpool’s goalkeeping department. The 22-year-old played 19 times for League Two outfit Crawley Town.
While the Reds did not make any senior signings in the transfer window, they did add two youngsters to the under-21s. Liverpool purchased Mor Talla Ndiaye from Senegalese side Amitie FC for around £1 million. Ndiaye, 18, impressed for his country at Under-17 World Cup last year. He is a left-footed centre-back, which is a rare and coveted commodity in football.
Meanwhile, Liverpool brought in Noah Adekoya from Premier League rivals Burnley. The 19-year-old centre-half is a boyhood fan from the city and captained Burnley under-18s to the Professional Development League North title last season.
While both teenagers have linked up with Rob Page’s under-21s, they have been registered in Liverpool’s list of under-21 players. Premier League clubs are permitted for as many players as they like below the age bracket.
