'Going hunting': Three more Liverpool players eyed by Real Madrid amid Alexis Mac Alister interest - journalist

Alexis Mac Allister is not the only Liverpool player being mooted for a Real Madrid switch.

The Argentine, who moved from Brighton and Hove Albion to Anfield, is under contract until 2028.

Mac Allister is open to playing in Spain, but it remains to be seen if he would join Los Blancos.

The Liverpool player’s dad has responded to transfer interest from Madrid, suggesting his son is happy on Merseyside.

However, the former Brighton ace is not the only Reds star being eyed by the Spanish powerhouse, it has now emerged.

Real Madrid want four Liverpool players

Dean Jones has provided a Real Madrid transfer update this week, in which he said they are ‘going hunting’ in the Premier League.

A host of targets are mentioned, including Mac Allister. But Jones has said three more Liverpool talents are of interest to Real.

He said: “Real Madrid are going hunting in the Premier League. The big one we have all been waiting for is Erling Haaland. They are favourites to land him whenever he does decide to leave Manchester City. But there are more immediate aims.

“Enzo Fernandez is a prime target from Chelsea, but Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United has been mentioned as well.

“Plenty of Liverpool players are on the list. Alexis Mac Allister is the latest, but Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai and Ibrahima Konate, have all been mooted.”

Latest on Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch’s Liverpool contracts

Ibrahima Konate is currently set to leave Liverpool as a free agent later this year.

Meanwhile, Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch are, like Mac Allister, both under contract until 2028.

However, it emerged last month that Liverpool want Szoboszlai and Gravenberch to sign new deals.

It was even suggested that the Reds view the Hungarian midfielder as a future club captain after Virgil van Dijk.

Szoboszlai has been Liverpool’s best player this season, so losing him to Madrid would be an especially big blow.
