It's not often in the NBA that you see a player have multiple stints with a team.
Well, one player is taking that to the next level, as a player who was on the Timberwolves just a couple of days ago has gone through an insane last 48 hours to end up back where he started.
Timberwolves to sign guard less than 48 hours after trading him
On Wednesday afternoon, the Timberwolves traded away guard Mike Conley to the Bulls.
The deal was mainly done to give the team financial flexibility, especially as they tried to navigate a trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo as the trade deadline got closer.

Later on Wednesday, the Bulls traded Conley to the Hornets.
There was some uncertainty about what would happen next for Conley, but he was eventually waived by the Hornets, allowing him the opportunity to sign with a team of his choice as a free agent.
Now, on Friday, it was announced that Conley had decided where he would sign next, which was right back where he was just a couple of days ago, with the Timberwolves (via Shams Charania).
It was a hectic process for Conley, but he ended up on a team he started with and is already very familiar with, while giving the Timberwolves flexibility moving forward.
Conley's role this season with Minnesota has decreased quite a bit, averaging 18.5 minutes and coming mainly off the bench, compared to averaging 24.7 minutes last season with 64 total starts.
