Chelsea are very excited about the future addition to the first team squad of promising winger Geovany Quenda.
After the Blues have reaped the rewards of Estevao Willian’s introduction to first team duties, they are of the belief that their project of signing young talents is working out.
Quenda has impressed greatly in the Champions League this season, already showing that he is ready for action at the top level of European football.
Be honest: If Estevao avoids injuries, is he actually destined to be GREATER than Eden Hazard?

Recent weeks have handed the youngster a bit of a blow, as he has been absent since the start of December due to a foot injury.

Dario Essugo helping Geovany Quenda settle at Chelsea
Quenda returned to Chelsea to undergo treatment, where he has had the opportunity to get familiar with his future surroundings and teammates.
There is at least one friendly face already at the club. He previously featured alongside Dario Essugo at Sporting, who was brought in a year before the winger will make his debut.
It seems this has been an important relationship already for everyone. According to Football London, Essugo has been in constant contact with Quenda since he has been in England to help him settle in.
Chelsea have very high hopes for Quenda, and are doing everything in their power to make sure he is ready to thrive next season.

Essugo’s nightmare first season at Chelsea
While he is making an impact off the pitch, the same cannot be said for what has been happening on the pitch.
Chelsea’s injury list is growing…
How concerned are you by the influx of injuries under Liam Rosenior?
Since the Club World Cup, the midfielder is yet to feature for his new side after a series of injuries.
Essugo has suffered another recent setback, meaning he will not be available for selection for Liam Rosenior until at least March.
With Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez playing 90 minutes most games, having a rotation option would be great for them. They have also not been offered this by Romeo Lavia this season either.
