In a recent post on X, Clark wrote "Pacers 2027 world champions". The message was posted shortly after the NBA's February trade deadline passed.
Known to be a prominent supporter of the Indiana Pacers, Clark's comments are not completely unexpected. She made numerous appearances during the Pacers' 2025 playoff run.
On Thursday, it was reported that the Pacers would be acquiring Ivica Zubac and Kobe Brown from the Los Angeles Clippers for Benedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson, two first-round picks, and a second-round pick. This season, Zubac is averaging 14.4 points and 11.0 rebounds over 43 games.
The 28-year-old Zubac is best known as a defensive specialist, having been named to the 2025 NBA All-Defensive Second Team. The seven-foot center is expected to be a solid addition to Indiana's frontcourt.
While the Pacers are coming off an NBA Finals appearance, the team looks to be headed closer to the draft lottery than a postseason berth. With a 13-38 record, Indiana holds the worst record in the Eastern Conference standings.
Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton has been a major factor in the team's rapid downward spiral. Haliburton suffered an Achilles injury during Game 7 of the NBA Finals and is expected to remain sidelined from action until next season.
Last season, Haliburton averaged 18.6 points and 9.2 assists over 73 games. He was named to the All-NBA Third Team for his efforts.

A potential starting lineup for the 2026-2027 season may include Haliburton, Siakam, Zubac, Aaron Nesmith, and Andrew Nembhard. The franchise may also have a top rookie signed to its roster.
Overall, Clark's prediction is not far outside the realm of possibility. At full strength, the Pacers have the potential to rebound into the playoff picture.
