Yan Diomande looks likely to figure in Liverpool’s thinking as they aim to sign a new wide forward this summer.
The Reds are reportedly on the search for another attacker who could act as a successor to the declining Mohamed Salah.
Diomande has had a breakout season with RB Leipzig, alerting all of Europe’s top sides to his potential as a world-class winger.

Liverpool potentially have a head-start in their bid to buy the 19-year-old after Diomande admitted to supporting the Reds in January.
That has fuelled speculation that a move to Anfield could be in the offing, and as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, Diomande has now made a change of agency ahead of an expected transfer this summer.
Yan Diomande signs with ROC Nation
Given their need for a new, electric winger, his affiliation with the club and Liverpool’s propensity for signing players from RB Leipzig, there appears to be a decent chance Diomande will end up on Merseyside.
Whatever happens, it now looks likely that the Ivorian will not be staying in Saxony, with Romano confirming on X that he has joined ROC Nation in an ‘important decision’ ahead of the window.

“RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomandé has signed today with Roc Nation Sports International as new agency,” says the transfer expert.
“Important decision ahead of summer transfer window with several top clubs keen.”
Leipzig will certainly not let Diomande go on the cheap, but the youngster is clearly planning for his future and looking to make the next step as soon as possible.

What does this mean for Liverpool?
While a player changing agents is not always a sign that a transfer is imminent, it does appear to be the case here.
Leipzig are unlikely to want to lose Diomande after only one season in their first-team, but if the player has his eye on the exit then they may have to reluctantly agree.
For Liverpool, and the others sides’ angling to pick him up, that is obviously good news. However, the Reds have seen how Leipzig negotiate in the past and they will not make concessions on the fee.
Ultimately, that is what is going to dictate whether or not Diomande ends up at Anfield. If Leipzig do not budge on their reported £80m+ valuation, then it is hard to see this happening for Liverpool.
Should the price come down a chunk, though, things could line up for Diomande to be wearing red next season.
