Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua carries his intensity beyond the field. While appearing on *The Pat McAfee Show*, the All-Pro spoke candidly about the NFL’s elite defenders. Though the Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo was mentioned in passing, Nacua ultimately directed his comments toward Cleveland Browns standout Myles Garrett, taking a clear shot at the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
“(Giannis Antetokounmpo) and Myles Garrett, It’s like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to be here.’ And then, ‘Hey, look, I’m back, guys.’” the Rams receiver commented.
Puka Nacua says Myles Garrett is the NFL’s equivalent of Giannis Antetokounmpo:

Nacua appeared to suggest that both stars have been inconsistent in their stances. He did not soften the point or walk it back, delivering the thought plainly and without hesitation.
Garrett likely has plenty to keep him occupied at the moment. He earned his second Defensive Player of the Year honor in a unanimous vote on Thursday night and will soon turn his attention to the Winter Olympics, where his snowboarder girlfriend Chloe Kim is aiming for another gold medal.
Even so, Nacua’s remarks are bound to make their way back to him eventually. And when they do, it is difficult to argue that Garrett did not make a full turnaround in how he felt about his future with the Browns.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has never gone as far as filing an official trade request, which separates his situation from Myles Garrett’s. Time and again, he has spoken openly about his commitment to both the Bucks and the city of Milwaukee.
That said, Shams Charania reported that the 2021 Finals MVP believed it was appropriate to at least consider other possibilities, leading the Bucks to hold discussions with interested teams before the deadline. In the end, Antetokounmpo stayed put, and by all accounts, he was perfectly comfortable with that outcome.

The two-time NBA MVP shared an iconic clip from The Wolf of Wall Street to signal his intention to stay in Milwaukee. While figures like Puka Nacua might doubt him, the Greek Freak has consistently maintained his position. Still, questions about his future continue to linger.
If Antetokounmpo and Garrett remain with their current teams, their organizations will need to find ways to fully capitalize on their immense talent. Interestingly, or perhaps appropriately, the Haslam family holds a majority stake in both the Bucks and the Browns.
