Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign defender Daniel McCarron from Dungannon Swifts, as reported by the [club](https://arsenal.com/news/daniel-mccarron-join-dungannon-swifts).
The centre-back will be part of next season’s scholarship intake in July and will sign professional terms when he turns 17 on February 2nd 2027.
A Northern Ireland U17 international, McCarron has been on the bench for Dungannon’s first-team on two occasions.
He has featured for Arsenal U17s as a trialist over the past couple of seasons, including in the Adidas Cup success in Brazil last campaign.
