Liam Rosenior: 'It's another important game in our season'

Liam Rosenior took some time to assess Chelsea’s chances in matchday 25 against relegation strugglers, Wolves, who currently sit rock bottom of the Premier League.

Rosenior’s side have gone unbeaten in the Premier League since the Englishman took the reins and will look to extend this as they travel to the Black Country in what is anticipated to be a ‘Chelsea-sided’ affair. Chelsea suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the Emirates to London rivals Arsenal in midweek, despite having control over the semi final clash.

"The noise (about the Arsenal defeat) doesn't surprise me at all, that comes with the territory. What other teams do, it has nothing to do with me. What people think about the way my teams play makes no difference to my decision making. We didn't go through so there are always things you can do differently, but that was a very, very solid performance and the game could have easily gone our way."

“You get set-backs in life, it's how you respond. The response in training and in the meetings that we have had has been really positive. We now have to focus on the future which is Wolves on Saturday”

“We prepare in exactly the same way. I’ve watched Rob (Edwards)’s team recently. They put in a very good performance against Bournemouth and were unfortunate not to get anything from the game. I want to see a consistency from this group in our engagement in every game we play. It’s another important game in our season.”

“Jamie is looking more long term. It’s a real shame. A tear in his hamstring. I can’t ever say (how long), it’s too early.”

“Don’t know yet (If they will be fit). We had training today, we will check on them tomorrow and make a decision”

“Yes (both will be available to start against Wolves)”
