Arsenal host Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium later today and manager Mikel Arteta and the Gunners appear to have received a much-needed boost.
Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber was with the rest of the first-team on their pre-match walk this morning, according to insider Connor Humm.
Humm, an Arsenal insider who regularly breaks news on the Gunners and is followed on X by the likes of Dharmesh Sheth, Ryan Taylor and Fabrizio Romano shared the update this morning.
The former Sky Sports producer has been spot on with most of his scoops in the past and he has claimed that the Dutchman was on the team walk earlier today.
While that does not mean that Timber is in the matchday squad to face the Black Cats, Arteta confirmed yesterday that he will be available for selection today.

However, Arsenal will be without Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz for the game, while Mikel Merino is a long-term injury absentee.
The North London club will be desperate to pick up all three points today and further consolidate their position at the top of the Premier League table.
Victory over Sunderland will put them nine points ahead of Manchester City, who play Liverpool tomorrow.
However, their lead over Aston Villa could remain seven points if the Midlands club win at Bournemouth and they win against the Black Cats.
Arsenal will fancy their chances against Sunderland despite the injury absences, but having Timber available is a much-needed boost.
Today’s visitors could prove to be a tough nut to crack given their recent form, and the Gunners will need to be on top of their game to ensure victory.
