The Gunners have responded well to that setback against Manchester United 13 days ago by winning three in a row across three different competitions to remain on track for unprecedented glory at the end of the season.
Arsenal should be full of confidence after beating Chelsea 4-2 on aggregate to book a place in the Carabao Cup final and know they can potentially end the weekend nine points clear at the summit with victory today coupled with results elsewhere going in their favour.
Sunderland, though, have been this season's surprise package in the Premier League. In no danger of being relegated, they did end the Gunners' run of wins and clean sheets in the reverse fixture back in November, so this all the hallmarks of a banana skin for the hosts.
