Chelsea boss Bompastor extends contract until 2030

**Chelsea**head coach Sonia Bompastor has extended her contract with the club until 2030.

Bompastorjoined the Blues on a four-year deal in May 2024 and guided the club to a domestic treble, winning the FA and LeagueCup, as well as their sixth consecutive Women Super League title, remaining unbeaten.

“I am delighted to extend my stay here”. She told the club website.

“I want to thank the club for their unwavering support and trust they have shown me. It's a privilege to lead this team and to represent Chelsea”.

It had been reported that the club agreed the extension prior to disappointing defeats to **Arsenal**and Manchester City, with both parties retaining full belief in one another.

Despite hopes of a seventh straight league title fading away, the Blues could theoretically still win the quadruple this season.
