Liverpool fans will be expecting their team to turn up and train harder than ever this season as they aim to correct a patchy run of form.
The Reds have only won one Premier League game in their last six outings and have work to do to make it into next season’s Champions League.
Things have improved since the autumn when Liverpool were losing games on a regular basis, but it is still a far cry from the title defence supporters were expecting.

Hard work is the only thing that will turn things around completely, and luckily it sounds as though the Reds are putting in the hard yards at the AXA Training Centre.
But according to right-back Conor Bradley, one player is still the first in every single day: Mohamed Salah.
Mohamed Salah still cannot be beaten to Liverpool training
During his eight-and-a-half year spell with Liverpool, Salah has become well known as first in, last out at training.
And despite a difficult season for the £34m bargain signing from Roma, Bradley has admitted that Salah is still unbeatable when it comes to getting into the gym first.

The pair sat down to answer quickfire questions in a new video posted by Liverpool on TikTok in association with AXA on Saturday. Asked to name the first song they ever played at the Reds’ training ground, Salah took up the question.
“I go, first one in the gym, I put Eminem,” he said. “I say ‘guys, whoever comes earlier than me puts his music’. Then they have to listen to it!”
“No one’s ever earlier than him, so…” Bradley responded.

Salah explains love for Eminem
Watch closely enough on Liverpool’s ‘Inside Training’ videos, and you’ll regularly hear Eminem blasting out of the gym speakers.
Now we know that this is a sign Salah was once again unopposed in his run as training ground DJ.
Asked whether he likes to put ‘old Eminem or new Eminem,’ the Egyptian suggests his favourite song by the legendary American rapper.
“Everything! I just put Eminem, start the music,” Salah said. “But it starts the old ones more I think. The one he sings for his daughter [Mockingbird], it’s incredible. This is one of my favourites.”
Even during a struggling campaign for the 33-year-old, it is clear that he still has the hunger and drive to push himself each and every day. If Salah does leave Liverpool this year, they are not just losing an incredible, legendary player, but a model professional as well.
