Sunderland were back in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon as they faced Arsenal at the Emirates.
Though Regis Le Bris’s side competed well for the most part, an excellent opening goal from Martin Zubimendi and a brace from second-half substitute Viktor Gyokeres helped the hosts on their way to an ultimately comfortable 3-0 win.
