**Cole Palmer scored a first-half hat-trick as Chelsea eased to a fourth consecutive Premier League win.**
The first two goals came from the penalty spot, following fouls on Joao Pedro, with Palmer finding the bottom right corner with his first spot-kick and then the bottom left with an equally assured second.
Palmer crashed home his third with a powerful first-time finish from Marc Cucurella’s cut-back to ensure a 3-0 half-time lead.
The Blues, who have now won seven of their nine matches under head coach Liam Rosenior, could have been further ahead at the break after a dominant first period.
And although they struggled against a spirited Wolves in the second half, they held on after Tolu Arokadare’s close-range strike.
