Liam Rosenior says there's a Chelsea player he just loves watching

Cole Palmer is playing with a smile on his face again after grabbing all three of Chelsea’s goals in a win over Wolves.

Chelsea started the game brightly with two penalties dispatched by Cole Palmer to set the tone, before following it up with a brilliant finish for his third.

And Palmer even broke two Premier League records with his hat-trick.

However, the second half was a different story. Wolves dominated proceedings and even grabbed a goal back after some sloppy play from Chelsea.

It’s a shame that we couldn’t keep it up for 90 minutes, but the all-important part was the three points.

Liam Rosenior drops his verdict on Cole Palmer’s display

There had been plenty of talk about Cole Palmer’s future, but he put any doubts to bed at Molineux.

Liam Rosenior spoke after the game and made his admiration clear in just three words (as per BBC Live blog).

“Palmer loves playing football, I love watching.”

However, let’s not speak too soon, as Palmer still isn’t in a position to play the full 90 minutes, hence why he was substituted after 60 at Molineux.

Liam Rosenior continues on Palmer

It’s great to see Liam Rosenior still push for improvements after a positive result, as it was far from the finished product in the second half.

Speaking on Palmer and his side’s display against Wolves.

“Obviously delighted for Cole [Palmer]. There’s been a lot of talk around him, about how happy he is – he looked happy today with his three goals. But we could have scored more in the first half and we need to keep improving.

“There’s a lot of positives. But I want us to keep focusing on what we can improve. We’ve got a difficult game on Tuesday against a strong Leeds team.”

“When they’re in the mood and when they do the right thing and their mentality is right, they’re an outstanding group of players. And Cole is definitely someone that we want on the pitch more often than not. And hopefully he can stay fit now.”
