The Rockets are aiming to fire their way to a fourth straight road victory when they visit the Thunder on Saturday.
How to Watch Rockets vs Thunder
There's no place like home, except if you're in Houston. The Rockets travel to Oklahoma City on Saturday, having won their past three road games, while their form at the Toyota Center has been a little shaky, to say the least.
Ime Udoka's side capitulated in a 109-99 loss at home to Charlotte on Thursday, their second home defeat in as many nights after suffering an even wider loss to Boston. The Thunder are in the opposite mood, meanwhile, as they look to clinch a third consecutive home win after struggling for away results of late.
The Western Conference rivals have already met twice this season, with OKC coming out on top on both occasions. The head-to-head record between these two franchises was one of the tightest in the NBA coming into this season, though the Thunder's dominance is still on the slim side, winning 126 meetings compared to Houston's 119.
That margin may be at further risk considering Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is expected to be sidelined until after the All-Star break after picking up an abdominal injury earlier this week. And it could be a sign of things to come for the time being, after OKC sorely missed his output in a 116-106 loss to San Antonio on Wednesday.
