Lakers vs. Warriors: The matchup
The Lakers hold a one-game lead over the Phoenix Suns in the Pacific Division and are fifth-best in the Western Conference with their 31-19 record, which includes a 13-8 mark at home. The Warriors are a top-8 team that sits four games back of the Lakers in both sets of standings with a 28-24 overall mark and 11-15 road record.

The Lakers will take on their West rivals without the services of NBA leading scorer Luka Doncic, who suffered a strained hamstring in Thursday’s 119-115 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Austin Reaves scored 35 points off the bench to provide a spark in the team’s third win in four games. Golden State is also playing without its top scorer as Steph Curry recovers from a knee injury and is likely to be without recently acquired big man Kristaps Porzingis.
