**Tottenham**host London rivals **Chelsea**in a contest that could have major ramifications in the race for the top three in the Women's Super League.
Spurs could leapfrog Chelsea in their hunt for a first finish in the Women's Champions League places. However, they will need to make history in order to do it.
In seventeen games, the Blues have claimed victory every single time. In Martin Ho's debut managerial tussle with Sonia Bompastor, the Lilywhites came close to earning a draw back in October until Keira Walsh's long-ranged strike.
Finally taking points off their city rivals would be another statement from Ho's side, who have already done so against Manchester United and Arsenal.
A win for Tottenham would not only be historic, but it would put more uncertainty onto a tumultuous time for Chelsea.
Bompastor will be looking for a course correction following defeats against the Gunners and a 5-1 mauling at the hands of Manchester City - their first back-to-back losses under their French head coach.
The reigning WSL champions have not lost four matches in a season since 2014 - before they had won any of their eight league titles.
On the other side of the matchup, Spurs are only seven points short of beating their record tally since being promoted to the WSL, with eight matches remaining.
Tottenham
Drew Spence will miss out through suspension after receiving a red card against West Ham. Injuries are unaltered, with Ella Morris, Jess Naz, Maite Oroz and Luana Buhler continuing rehabilitation.
Chelsea
Lucy Bronze remains out with her recurring injury. International teammate Aggie Beever-Jones is also doubtful, with Bompastor saying they were "still assessing" the striker. Mayra Ramirez, Nathalie Björn, Niamh Charles, Kadeisha Buchanan and Catarina Macario are still unavailable.
Likely Line-Ups
Tottenham
Kop; Rybrink, Koga, Hunt, Nilden; Ahtinen, Summanen, Vinberg, Holdt, Gaupset; England
Chelsea
Hampton; Carpenter, Girma, Bright, Baltimore; Walsh, Kaptein, Cuthbert; Rytting Kaneryd, Thompson, James
Players to watch
Tottenham - Eveliina Summanen
Against West Ham last weekend, Summanen celebrated 100 appearances in Tottenham white in just over four years at the club.
The centre midfielder has started every game under Martin Ho, bar one - the 1-0 win over Bristol City in the FA Cup. She has been an ever-consistent rock in the middle of the park.
Spurs largely sat back in the away meeting at Kingsmeadow, relying on sparse counters. However, being at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and capitalising on Chelsea's form wobbles can give the Lilywhites impetus to play further up.
With her usual midfield partner Spence absent, the Finland international will need to maintain her solidity in the middle, especially in regards to progressing it into the final third.
Chelsea - Alyssa Thompson
One bright spark in recent weeks has been Thompson's gradual growth into a centre forward.
Last time the Blues faced Spurs, Thompson started as quasi-wing-back, yet still managed five shots on goal and a Barclays Player of the Match award. This was during the United States international's first few outings, where her talent and explosivity were evident, if a little unrefined as she settled in England.
Since the turn of the year, Thompson has scored three of her seven Chelsea goals. Her consolation finish in the defeat in Manchester was supremely well taken, even in tricky circumstances in distance and game state.
Although Bompastor has made it clear that she would prefer to have more options in the number 9 slot, Thompson has stepped up and become a composed threat in front of goal.
