Middleton could make his Mavs debut on Tuesday vs. the Suns.
Marvin Bagley, AJ Johnson and Tyus Jones are all available to make their Dallas Mavericks debut on Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs, but that won't be the case for Khris Middleton.
Dallas Mavericks / Schedule
As such, sources told Christian Clark of The Athletic that the former NBA star will be good to go for his first Mavs game on Tuesday, as they'll face the Phoenix Suns on the road.
Along with Bagley and Johnson, Middleton was acquired by the Mavs just hours before the NBA trade deadline in the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade.
Middleton has been drawing a lot of monitoring across the league as a potential buyout candidate, but it appears that Dallas is looking to stick with him as another key veteran and leader within their promising squad behind reigning No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg.
This season, Middleton is averaging 10.3 points, 3.9 boards and 3.3 assists in 34 games played.
