When could Jonathan Kuminga finally play for the Hawks? Update revealed

Kuminga will be reevaluated after the All-Star Break. At the earliest, he could make his Hawks debut on Feb. 19 against the 76ers.

In the wake of anticipation over when he can officially play, Jonathan Kuminga's potential return timeline is set.

The Atlanta Hawks announced Saturday that their newly acquired forward will be reevaluated right after the All-Star Break. Kuminga has been currently dealing with a left knee bone bruise.

Kuminga sustained the injury on Jan. 22 against the Dallas Mavericks when he was still with the Golden State Warriors.

Along with Buddy Hield, he was acquired by the Hawks that sent Kristaps Porzingis to Golden State.

Kuminga appeared in 20 games so far this season. He is averaging 12.1 points, 5.9 boards and 2.5 assists.

The earliest possible date he can return is in Feb. 19 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
