Ahead of their road matchup to face the Sacramento Kings, the Cavs announced that Harden will be available for his Cleveland debut.
There were already expectations that Harden would appear in his first Cavaliers game against the Kings. As such, it's now officially confirmed.
The Cavaliers acquired Harden last Tuesday, sending Darius Garland and a second-round selection to the LA Clippers.
He didn't play in the team's 124-91 win over the Clippers last Wednesday.
Harden is expected to boost the Cavs' title hopes with his elite scoring, playmaking and durability. He'll join Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen in leading Cleveland to its first NBA title since 2016.
The former league MVP is averaging 25.4 points, 8.1 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 35.4 minutes across 44 games for the Clippers before the trade happened.
