Ayton (knee) is out day-to-day for the Lakers.
Deandre Ayton is out on a day-to-day basis for the Los Angeles Lakers, head coach JJ Redick told reporters after the team's 105-99 Saturday win over the Golden State Warriors.

“He went out for his shooting stretch, and, you know, just didn't feel completely comfortable with it. I don't think there's any reading to believe it's anything but day-to-day,” Redick said about Ayton's injury, per O.C. Register's Benjamin Royer.
Ayton was a late scratch in the Lakers' weekend showcase against the Warriors. In the injury report, the big man is reportedly dealing with right knee soreness.
Jaxson Hayes went on to be LA's starting big man.
As such, the status of Ayton will continue to be monitored. The Lakers will play the OKC Thunder next on Monday.
Ayton is averaging 13.4 points in a career-best 67.6 percent shooting from the field and 18.4 rebounds in 45 games this season for LA.
