The Los Angeles Lakers are signing Kobe Bufkin to a two-year deal, sources told Shams Charania of ESPN.
The 2026-27 is a team option.
Bufkin impressed the Lakers enough to secure the 15th spot on their roster. The 22-year-old played just three games on the 10-day contract he previously inked this season for LA, but he eventually emerged as an absolute standout on the team's G League affiliate.
With the South Bay Lakers, Bufkin is averaging 24.7 points in 49.6 percent shooting (43.1 percent from three) with 4.4 boards and 3.6 assists in 31.7 minutes across seven games.
