Liverpool Ace Was 'Recently Spotted' At Rival's Stadium As Concerns Grow About Potential Exit

Liverpool youngster Joshua Abe was “recently spotted at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu”, according to reports.

The Daily Mail claim that the Reds are in danger of losing the talented forward, with several clubs keen on signing him:

“Abe has a long list of suitors trying to poach him, and he has also just signed for PLG Agency, which represents the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson but also academy lads like Luke Chambers and Calvin Ramsay.”

“It is believed he turned down other high-profile agents in bids to represent him and was recently spotted at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu.”

The identity of Abe’s agent is a concern

The teenager is now represented by Tyler Alexander-Arnold, Trent’s brother. That may explain why Abe may have been in Madrid, but even so, it is fair to say that there is no love lost between the Alexander-Arnold family and Liverpool at this point.

From the outside looking in, it does appear as if the Reds are doing all they can to keep Abe. The winger has been training with the first team in recent weeks, and he was also given his debut in the UEFA Youth League against Zilina on Tuesday.

Which clubs are pursuing the Liverpool starlet?

While Real Madrid’s interest isn’t confirmed, it is believed that Chelsea and Manchester City are hoping to poach him.

Chelsea are reportedly still aggrieved about how they lost Rio Ngumoha. A tribunal recently announced the fee that the Reds will pay for the 17-year-old. However, it seems the Blues are now hoping to take a player from Anfield in return.

There have also been claims that City have tabled an official offer for Abe, but again, that has not been verified. Other teams could also try to make a move for the teenager between now and the summer.
