Music and sports have crossed over for a long time.
One of the latest examples: Minnesota Timberwolves forward Naz Reid finds himself in a J. Cole lyric.
The song is Man Up Above on the new album, The Fall Off.
J. Cole talks about people stretching stuff "like a new school power forward, Naz Reid range."

At a Timberwolves media availability on Saturday, Reid was asked about what it means to be in a song like that.
“That was fire, I had no clue, I didn’t know he knew me," Reid told reporters. "That was crazy, the bar was crazy, I mean especially being a song from the album and it’s really good. If you ask me that’s the best song, not because of my name but you could add that in there."
Reid is now making sure other people hear the song, too.
"I woke up and a few people told me about it, and I was like what are you talking about," Reid said. "Then I checked out, it’s a good song and I’ve been playing it since, you know, got to make sure everybody hear it."

Reid is 26 years old and in his seventh NBA season, all with the Timberwolves.
He's shooting 39.3% from 3-point range this season, his second-best campaign from beyond the arc.
Reid has averages of 14.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, both of which would end up being career highs for him.
And now he's in a J. Cole song.
