The Celtics may be facing off against a undermanned Knicks team on Sunday afternoon at TD Garden. New York has listed three starters as questionable on their injury report for the contest while also ruling out key reserve Miles McBride.

Josh Hart (ankle) OG Anunoby (toe) and Karl-Anthony Towns (concussion) are all 50/50 to play in the matchup against a Celtics squad that has won five straight games overall. Both Towns and Anunoby did not play on Friday night in a blowout loss against the Pistons due to their injuries. Hart also left the second half of that game due to ankle soreness.

The Celtics will be shorthanded themselves for the matchup with Sam Hauser ruled out by the team on Sunday morning due to back spasms. Boston has won five straight games overall and will have some frontcourt reinforcements available with Nikola Vucevic in uniform for the second straight game since his acquisition from the Bulls on Thursday. Jayson Tatum (Achilles) also remains out for Boston.

The matchup between the Celtics and Knicks will be pivotal for playoff positioning in a tight Eastern Conference race. The two teams have split their head-to-head matchups so far this year with two games remaining. Boston currently holds a one-game lead over the Knicks for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Celtics and Knicks tip off at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at TD Garden.
