Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has named an unchanged line-up to take on Manchester City in the Premier League, with Alexis Mac Allister in midfield and Mohamed Salah in attack.
Alisson Becker is in goal with Dominik Szoboszlai filling in at right-back. Ibrahima Konate, who was excellent against Newcastle United last time out, is at center-back alongside Virgil van Dijk. Milos Kerkez is at left-back.
In midfield, Mac Allister is joined by Ryan Gravenberch. Salah, Florian Wirtz, Cody Gakpo and Hugo Ekitike make up the rest of the starting XI, with Curtis Jones, Rio Ngumoha and Federico Chiesa among the substitutes. Joe Gomez is still absent.

"Speaking from experience, I can safely say that this is a game that has attracted the attention of football fans all over the world for many years," Slot writes in the official matchday program.
"When I was in Holland, it was always a fixture that people would look out for due to the quality of football and the rivalry that existed between the two teams as they fought it out at the top of the Premier League.
"This makes it a privilege to be involved and having come up against City three times since moving to Liverpool, I am even better placed to appreciate the standard and also the demands.

Arne Slot has called for Liverpool to replicate its recent form when it hosts Manchester City
"Put simply, no one should be in any doubt about the levels you have to reach to win a game like this, especially when Pep Guardiola is in charge of the opposition.
"There are no shortcuts and no half measures at this level. You have to be all in from the first minute to the last, and you also have to be prepared to suffer.
"Under Pep, Manchester City have only ever been a team that will test you to the full. On and off the pitch, we have to be ready for this."

"I have spoken regularly this season about the need for consistency and I am going to repeat that point here. After good performances and results against both Qarabag and Newcastle United last week, it is important that we follow up with another."
