Liverpool team confirmed to face Man City in the Premier League.

Liverpool are unchanged for their Premier League clash against Manchester City.

Arne Slot names the same starting line-up as the team that beat Newcastle United 4-1 last weekend.

Dominik Szoboszlai continues at right-back, with the Reds without a recognised option. Conor Bradley (knee) and Jeremie Frimpong (groin) are sidelined, while Joe Gomez has not made the squad for a third successive game. Gomez has a hip problem and there was hope he might be able to return to the bench.

Slot is without four defenders as Giovanni Leoni is out for the rest of the season with a knee problem.

Alexis Mac Allister continues in midfield ahead of Curtis Jones while Hugo Ekitike spearheads the attack after scoring three goals in his past two games.

Liverpool: Alisson, Szoboszblai, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Wirtz, Salah, Ekitike, Gakpo.

Subs: Mamardashvili, Woodman, Endo, Chiesa, Jones, Robertson, Nyoni, Ramsay, Ngumoha.
