Houston Rockets star center Alperen Sengun has been named to the 2026 NBA All-Star Game as an injury replacement.
The league announced that Sengun was selected by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to replace injured Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on Team World for the All-Star Game.
Sengun has helped the Rockets (32-19) to the No. 4 seed of the West so far this season. He is averaging 20.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.0 block in 44 games.
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game, set for February 15 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles (with weekend events February 13-15), will feature a new U.S. vs. World format in a round-robin tournament.
