Manchester City have work to do if they are to catch Arsenal FC in the Premier League title race.
Manchester City sit second in the Premier League table after they came from behind to defeat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Pep Guardiola’s side knew they had to hit back after Arsenal strolled past Sunderland earlier in the weekend, and they did so in style, thanks to an incredible comeback on Merseyside. Dominik Szoboszlai scored a stunning free-kick to give the home side the lead, but the game was turned on its head thanks to late goals from Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland.
Arsenal might occupy top spot with a six-point lead in the table, but it would be foolish to dismiss City despite their inconsistent form this season. If that is going to happen, they will have to go on another incredible winning run, and here are their next five matches in the title race.
