Kris Dunn also scored 15 points for a reworked LA club that traded James Harden and Ivica Zubac ahead of Thursday's deadline.
Minnesota squandered an 18-point second-half lead in its 119-115 loss to the visiting New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night. Anthony Edwards dropped 35 points, while Julius Randle finished with 24 points and seven assists, and Bones Hyland came off the bench for 20 points. Rudy Gobert contributed 12 points, 16 rebounds, and three steals as well.
The Timberwolves won the opening meeting at home with the Clippers on Dec. 6. Edwards averages 29.8 points for Minnesota, while Randle gets 22.2 points and 5.4 assists per game, and Gobert posts 10.7 points and 11.4 rebounds a night. Leonard posts averages of 27.7 points and 6.2 boards for the Clippers, with Collins scoring 13.8 points per game.
