Washington Wizards general manager Will Dawkins expects Anthony Davis to come back to the court this season.
Despite reports about Anthony Davis being shut down by the Washington Wizards until the end of the season, the team's general manager, Will Dawkins, believes he could still return this season.

During a press conference on Monday, Dawkins stated that the current plan for Davis is to continue his rehab in Dallas, and his return timeline will become clearer after the All-Star break, with hopes that he can still make his debut for Washington.
"The plan for AD right now is to go back to Dallas and finish his rehab," Dawkins said, via Yahoo Sports. "During the All-Star break, he will have another doctor's visit. That's a big appointment for us to see where his progress is at."
Even with limited availability, Davis has continued to show his elite level when on the court. He is averaging 20.1 points and 11.1 rebounds in 20 games this season.
Overall, he has appeared in 29 games since arriving in Dallas earlier in the year before being moved to Washington.
