Barcelona’s thoughts seem to be turning to the summer transfer window and how to strengthen the squad for the 2026-27 campaign.
According to Diario Sport, the two positions that have emerged as the greatest priority are center-back and center-forward, and Barcelona have now decided that it is the attack which is the top focus.
The report says that finding a new center-forward is the “absolute priority” and seen as “more important” that bringing in another defender.
Throw in Eric Garcia, Jules Kounde and Gerard Martin, and it seems Barcelona now think they are pretty well covered when it comes to central defence.
In attack it’s slightly different, particularly as Robert Lewandowski will turn 38 this summer and it’s still not known if he will continue for another year.
