The west London giants have picked up form in the league. They have won four matches on the bounce under the guidance of Liam Rosenior. Andrey Santos started the recent 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on the road, but he unfortunately picked up a knock in the second half. Rosenior did not provide any kind of update in his post-match presser, but the Brazilian is expected to be assessed ahead of the Leeds encounter. The Blues have a short turnaround time with the match on Tuesday evening. Santos faces a race against time to be fit for the midweek clash. Chelsea will be aiming to avenge their 3-1 loss to Leeds on the road.
A victory over the Whites at the Bridge would see the Blues move seven points clear of sixth-placed Liverpool temporarily. Fifth place could be sufficient to qualify for the Champions League next season.
