There are four Arsenal players whose contracts expire at the end of next season, meaning they could leave for free.

They are also in the Carabao Cup final, fourth round of the FA Cup, and are the favourites to win the Champions League after topping the league phase table.

However, Arsenal will need to look at the long-term as well as the short term, as there are four players who are set to leave the club for free next season, as their contracts expire in June 2027. The Gunners need to decide if they want to keep them…(TransferMarkt)

The Four Arsenal Players Whose Contracts Expire Next Season

Gabriel Martinelli

Firstly, and perhaps the biggest conundrum for Arsenal is Gabriel Martinelli, who at 24, remains a key member of Mikel Arteta’s squad. Martinelli has been linked to several moves, including Bayern Munich, and the Saudi Pro League, however, he could still remain at Arsenal.

The one thing the Gunners need to ensure is that he extends his contract, as he will be worth a solid transfer fee, and they can’t allow him to leave for free.

Leandro Trossard

Fellow left-winger Trossard is also out of contract at the end of next season. He has been a big part of Arsenal’s success this season, and so Arteta may want to keep him around, but he is much older.

Trossard will be 32 when his contract expires, so it is less likely that the Gunners will offer him a new long-term deal; Leaving for free could be a real possibility for the Belgian.

Gabriel Jesus

Jesus has struggled a lot with injuries since joining Arsenal, but he has remained an important goal scorer for Arteta.

However, seeing as he isn’t the first choice striker anymore after Viktor Gyokeres joined in the summer, he will likely leave when his contract expires.

Christian Norgaard

Finally, summer signing Norgaard. He was linked to a shock exit in January, and will almost certainly not sign a new contract. For one, he is already 31, and secondly, he has made just four Premier League appearances for Arsenal this season.
